Old guys in the office that take The Blaze seriously.

It seems like white guys in their mid 40s to late 50s have a deal with The Blaze. They keep trying to show everyone the bullshit videos and way out of context, half truth articles written there. I tried to explain to one of those old guys that the site is a tongue-in-cheek bullshit feel-good website for right wingers and that most educated and intelligent people understand this. Some of these guys really believe what they see there. I wonder if they take the National Enquirer seriously too?

http://www.theblaze.com/

What is it about middle age white guys that makes them so stupid?

I do roll my eyes anytime someone uses that site as a serious resource. They'd be better off quoting the Onion.

Meh. It's no different than the lefty tards quoting Kos or HuffPo.

They also love to quote the Salon web site, too. Along with Paul Krugman, the famed and Nobel Peace Prize winning economist that writes for the New York Times.

No, it's mostly ridiculous teabagger nonsense and stupid shit that rednecks believe. It also appeals strongly to bible banger Christian crowd and usually has "faith based" articles.

Whereas HuffPo and Kos appeals to the tards on the other side. It is ridiculous nonsense that provides talking points to people too stupid to think for themselves. Obviously you read Kos and HuffPo and are offended, but it is the truth. You just can't think on your own. You need to be spoon-fed the "information" you will eventually regurgitate.

Exactly right. There are just as many on both sides. TPM, Media Matters, Think Progress, Mother Jones, etc., all routinely distort information in exactly the same way. The only difference is in presentation style and that the idiots reading that actually believe that they're the "smart ones" for doing so. Amazes me that people, as they did here, cite Krugman and some of the nonsense that he writes in an opinion column as gospel. Dude has a Nobel prize! (and it was not a "Peace Prize" you idiot lol). His views on any even completely unrelated subject MUST be right! lmao

Ridiculous teabagger nonsense is is also on the menu @ CNS News, NewsMax, The Drudge Report, Breitbart, The Daily Caller, and Fox News.

Incorrect. It is mostly a news aggregation site (ala Drudge). It is true that the news that is aggregated supports the libertarian views of Beck, but it's much better than Huffington or KOS, which is mostly or almost exclusively opinion.

"the site is a tongue-in-cheek bullshit feel-good website for right wingers"

True statement. Same is true for Rush Limbutt and the Washington Times. I think most educated repubs who listen to that trash know it's all for fun but it is sad when you run into someone who really believes that BS.

Incorrect. It is a site for Beck fans and libertarians. It links to articles on the WaPo and NyTimes, news stories on NBC and CBS and analysis from NPR and federal government web sites. The skewing isn't in the content, but rather in the decision of what stories that The Blaze links to.

It's pretty amazing how so many people who obviously have never been to the site post on it's content.

It's all tongue-in-cheek, like the seething with anger, envisioning yourself blowing up a federal building kind of tongue-in-cheek.

I suppose some really ignorant people could take it that way. Maybe the same people who are professional wrestling fans.
I have a feeling that Glen Beck is a reasonably intelligent guy who is making a good living off of really stupid Americans. He is laughing at his fans all the way to the bank. He is just working the crowd.

Do you think Al Sharpton or Chris Matthews are any different? Or Ed Schultz, who used to be a conservative talk show host who subscribed to the philosophies of Pat Buchanan? Do you haters on the left not realize that an equal number of people on the right think the same thing about Brian Williams and Rachel Maddow?

Blind hating partisans on both sides are the problem. You appear to be a useful partisan of the left. Like a bright light, your silly nonsense is obvious to all but you and your fellow blind partisans.

Uhm, no I never said anything of the kind. Are you a Glen Beck fan or something?

So, you think that people who believe the stuff on MSNBC are ignorant then. OK, then you aren't the partisan that your posts were painting you out to be.

"What is it about middle age white guys that makes them so stupid?"

You'd have to ask Liberal Logic 28 - our chief bloviator here.

Consider the respective educations of the pundits named here (plus my favorite bloviator, the always obvious Sean Hannity):

"Liberal" "Highest Educational Attainment"
Ed Schultz, Masters Degree
Al Sharpton, dropped out after 2 years
Chris Matthews, Bachelors
Brian Williams, dropped out 18 credits shy of graduating
Rachel Maddow, PhD
Paul Krugman, PhD

"Conservative"
Matt Drudge, did not attend
Rush Limbaugh, flucked out
Glen Beck, did not attend
Andrew Breitbart*, Bachelors
Tucker Carson, dropped out
Sean Hannity, flunked out

There is a rather telling pattern emerging here. The right wing is made up of the ignorant being led by the uneducated. This explains a lot. But, as the French say, "Tout comprendre c’est tout pardonner", so we'll let them on Obamacare too.

Seriously, some of you people are complete fucking idiots.

First, you try to pass off a cherry-picked list like this like it represents anything remotely real.

Second, it's not even original and you left out/edited out the cases that don't support your claimed pattern. lol

Third, that you'd expect anyone to actually buy your crap.

Damn son... up your game.

This is good work. Can you cite your source? I would like to show this to the old white guys at my office but they might not believe me if I tell them my source is PLUD6.

Wow, someone is too stupid to use google and/or Wikipedia. You may actually be dumber than the idiots reading the Blaze.

Man I thought you were talking about the Blaze newspaper at West Beverely Hills High School back in the 1990's. I thought Andrea Zuckerman and Brandon Walsh did a great job with that paper.
