This summer has just been too wet and too chilly!

Im sorry but I want summer heat. I look forward to super hot humid days with lots of sunshine and I can head out to the pool or enjoy a good picnic in the park. This weather blows. Its been the coolest summer I've ever known living in this area for the past 28 years. And so wet and rainy almost every day. My best friends came to visit and asked me "Is this Virginia, or Seattle Washington"? I hope we have at least some real summer weather this month.

Same here. Just think back to this time a year ago: July had something like 9 days over 100 degrees and compared to that 90 felt cool. I'll take this summer's temps over sweating my balls off any day.

Yes, but it should last the whole summer long, not just a week or two. The temps have still been silghtly below average for month of July. Im used to the heat and humidity the DC area brings every summer. Its just like expecting a sneeze and it never comes.

What are you, a snow bunny? 102 degrees is nothing. I remember clearly the DC area having up to 106 temps years ago.

I like cold whether because it keeps Blacks indoors so that I can "safely" walk around my neighborhood.
