Are yoo gettin' enough?
Posted by: Alias ()
Date: May 22, 2013 01:00AM

This morning, in a restaurant in Minnesota, after I'd finished my breakfast and asked for the check, my waitress (female server) asked this question:

"Are yoo gettin' enough?"

I asked, "Enough of what?"

She just stared at me.

Assuming she didn't mean sex, I asked, "Do you mean, food?

She put my check on the table and walked away, as confused as I.

Anyone ever heard of this odd "colloquialism"?

Stop making up stories, it just makes your miserable reality that much worse.

Why would I make up a story about a waitress (female server) in Minnesota?

Stop projecting. Not everyone is as unhappy as you.

I drank a martini today. What did you do.... wash your wig?

You were probably doing something in the restaraunt, like hoarding your food or shoveling it in your mouth. think back to what you were doing or how you were behaving, she was probably reacting to your manners, even if it was unintended you might have been taking too much or acting out of place. it's not something that would be said to a person who was fitting in. she probably wasnt meaning to be impolite, just reacting to your unusual behaviors.

You sound like a waitress who chews gum and wears a uniform too small to cover her fat ass.

I started with blueberry waffles topped with whipped cream, a side order of sugar cured hickory smoked Canadian bacon and a bowl of cinnamon applesauce oatmeal with sliced banana. (oatmeal keeps me healthy)

Still hungry, I moved on to a plate of Kosher corned beef hash, blended with onions and potatoes (yum, yum) and a large fluffy mushroom omelette cooked in a rich sherry sauce. (sherry calms my nerves)

My growling stomach not assuaged, I was forced to enjoy a bowl of creamy rice pudding with strawberries, raisins, and powdered sugar. (I love the way powdered sugar sticks to the roof of my mouth; sometimes I just let it sit there and slowly melt)

I finished my breakfast with a couple of cheddar cheese scones, a steaming cappuccino and a few chocolate mints sprinkled with these cute little pink candies.

Four is a low estimate, I would guess that there are about 10 people that post daily, a couple dozen people make a post or two and never come return per day, and hundreds of people who find the place through a google search and only read, then click BACK per day.

Hopefully you had enough integrity to leave an acceptable cash tip. Or did you stiff her by leaving a Chick tract on the table?
