Weapons awareness training in our schools?

I think some parents would be against this program.

That may just be the stupidest logo I have seen recently.
So, when a maintenance guy comes into a classroom with a hammer and/or screwdriver, is he going to be ridiculed as a coward, or is he going to be prosecuted for carrying a "weapon" on school grounds. What about the lunch lady? she probably has knives like that in the kitchen.

Unfortunately, I think they probably used those items in the logo because we have become so politically correct and soft that they can't even show a picture of an actual gun on the logo, for fear of damaging someone's fragile psyche.

(Upon closer inspection of the Twitter site, it is clear that this program is in the U.K. Not that I would be at all surprised to see some ass-hat try to introduce it here.)

Real men fight with their dukes. Only cowards who are scared of getting their butts kicked; because they lack certain manly virtues pack knives and guns. They need that "equalizer" to compensate for their short comings. They also could possess strong paranoid and inferiority tendencies.

Anything can be used as a weapon. Depends on the manner it is used. Some schools have instruct students to use any available items; books, rulers, cell phones and fling them with intent at the perpetrators in the event of a situation.

So women, the elderly, physically disabled people... these are all "cowards" in your eyes. For those people, a firearm levels the odds against a bigger, stronger attacker.

For others, it's just a matter of being prepared for any eventuality. I carry a fire extinguisher in my car. Does that make me a "coward" who is terrified of fire? No, it makes me a person who is prepared to deal with an unpleasant situation, in the unlikely (but possible) event that it happens.

But would you use the extinguisher on someone else's car?
Do you carry a first aid kit and Defibrillator? Christians are as Christians do.

Only in the USA could someone be so conditioned and indoctrinated that instead of seeing the truth, they see only stereotypes.

Waiting in line at Home depot my 7 year old son asks me why there is a guy with a gun strapped to his side in the next line. I respond as loud as I reasonably can that the man with the gun is a coward. We start laughing at the guy and pointing at him and the folks behind us join in. The gun guy does his little bitch move by giving us a dirty look then he leaves his cart and runs out of the store all butthurt. It was a great life lesson for my kid.

Most guys who carry guns are secretly trying to convince themselves that the public (women) is really thinking along the lines of: "Wow! That guy must be tough!" or "Wow! What a man!" You disillusioned the guy, pissd on his parade so to speak. Kinda mean.

Awww, don't be scared of the big bad guns. They're really nothing to be afraid of.

Just think of them like you did black cock in your ass. Remember how you were scared of that too the first time? But then you liked it! A LOT.

You'll have to pardon them. They've been taught that they can rely on this nebulous thing caled "the government" to save them from whatever problems may come their way no matter when or where. Kind of like a big Mommy in the sky. Similar to believing in an omnipresent deity just with more bureaucracy.

You left out the second part of the story. The man comes back into Home Depot, and you realize he wasn't butthurt, he went to his vehicle to store his weapon. He walks up to you, unarmed, and asks you to repeat what you said. You drop a sizable deuce in your pants, and everyone laughs at you instead.

That second part never happened, you say? Yeah, neither did the first part.

Yes, people hunt with pistols. In case you haven't noticed, the hunting season for hunting deer (and other critters) is open. During the bear season I carry a pistol for backup. Handy thing to have if you need it.

he wasn't in a coal mine, he was at a gas station surrounded by crazy nutjobs like you so he was carrying.

get over it -- its legal. just like abortion or voting.

This is some Essex, United Kingdom bullshit. Who cares about what they do? OP the Revolutionary War....We won it. They tried to take our guns, but they didn't thanks to Paul Revere. Sarah Palin 101, you dumb asses.

Now since we have the 2nd Amendment (shoot and scoot) and they have the Kings Justice (oft with their head), we are better off. In England you can't protect yourself you have to keep a stiff upper lip when you are getting fucked. Most of you libs are already good at keep that lip stiff.

blacks and hispanics are buying guns like crazy in this area with the help of fx co "gov"

the school program objective is to disarm whites who tend to believe in ubiquity if taught that

they also teach the kids that fx co "gov" is a final authority, and that police always help and protect: neither is true

but more than that this "program" is taxpayer funded: the suit, actor and all. it is not a volunteer program: it's just another way to spend like crazy

"big bird" is a wash dc program run by blacks run on taxpayer money - and the blacks DO get money when the characters are used (there is a kick-back in this program for blacks)

finally, i see on tv blacks pitching city projects with bull-o-va very impressed but what stinks is the projects are all plaguerized from other cities already built - projects like building policing alcoves to monitor the public
