Well according to some of the illegal's Facebook pages this event is no longer just a fundraiser.
It has now turned into a rap concert.
This e flyer is up on all of their Facebook pages.
I am sure the police over in Arizona would have a field day at this thing.
If only there were a way have this event transferred to Arizona instead of taking place in Springfield.
What the hell does this mean? I failed Spanish so I would not know.
Can the NAAWP legally get involved here?

From what I have seen on Facebook, most of the sympathy (at least in this area) is coming from the illegals and the children of the illegals.

he is 22 and she is 17. ehh some years apart. I dont see this being that big of a problem. If he was 32 and she was 17 then yeah but how many of you are dating someone 5 years younger then you, so what. I thought the age of consent was 16 or 17 anyways???? I am sure all the underage "porn" was of his girlfriend. Cant the police subdue a person without killing, a shot to the leg or arm maybe......How much damage is one guy with a sword going to do against 20 or some armed police officers.......

Some of the reports seemed to indicate he'd given the slip to the cops the day before, so I imagine the mindset amongst the cops was, "This guy got away from us once, and he absolutely won't get away from us again." They sure made certain of that when they shot him to death.
As to the specifics or subtleties of applicablility of the child pornography statute under which he was charged, cops are not trained in such things. They are a blunt instrument, and trained to enforce the law*, which they do by identifying, pursuing, and arresting suspects. The finer points are left to the lawyers and judges to argue.
As to shooting to him the leg or the arm, cops are not trained to shoot to wound. They're trained to shoot to kill, right in the center of mass, which is your chest. (This is entirely appropriate, by the way. If you point a gun at someone you'd better be ready to kill them, because it's likely you're going to.)
Ultimately, it was this guy's decision to menace armed police officers with what is classified as a deadly weapon. If he had not done so, he'd be in the ADC right now waiting for his case to come before a judge, rather than dead.
*Interestingly, cops in the UK are trained to "keep the peace", which gives them an entirely different perspective on law enforcement, although many of the methods they use are the same.
