Scores of Children Killed by Obama Drone Strikes, Not News?

Scores of children are killed monthly by Obama drone strikes in Pakistan and elsewhere, not news? Or is it because they are brown people in another country? Just saying.

Nail on the head. Are you saying that you don't think that American children deserve more respect and attention?

Are you saying living on one piece of dirt makes some kids worth more than those on another piece of dirt?

So when Bush's troops killed kids in Iraq that was okay?

Never happened. Republicans don't do anything wrong. It's the damn liberals!

Remember what they used to say? "America! Love it or leave it!"

I wouldn't put it like that. Yes it's sad when a child anywhere is killed, but usually a death of your fellow citizen warrants a little more empathy.

You think those savages give a fuck about what happened? No.

I try to look at the bright side. Whenever a kid is killed, he might've grown up to be the next Hitler.

Only in as much as it was okay for Bill Clinton to drop 1.3 million pounds of bombs on Iraq including an aspirin factory.

Of course, you've never mentioned that in one of your "it's Bush's fault" posts.

Earlier on Fox News they were referring to Obama as "the school shooter in-chief".

Because it's not.

It's a "conVince, like most repub and dem posters, is a hypocrite" post.

Repubs and dems are all warmongering freedom-hating assholes who criticize each other for doing exactly the same shit they do. The only thing that makes it right or wrong is whether your guy is the one doing it or not.

You've lost whatever credibility you ever had around here.

Stop trying so hard.

He never had any credibility.

He's a drone.

War sucks. I think they are military drones, I didn't know Obama had his own personal drones. This is just part of a modern war situation. I am sure Bush didn't use drones. Ahhhhhhhh, I forgot we aren't supposed to even mention Bush, like he never happened.

Boooosh!

You're not supposed to mention him, because Republicans hate it when you remind them of their biggest fuck up. Today and every day until Obama leaves office is all about hating on Obama. Do not confuse the issue.

The winner of the Nobel Peace Prize would never have a hand in something like that.

It is news but it just doesn't get reported much in mainstream media outlets in the US. It does get reported in the Arab world for sure.

In November of 2001, Al Qaeda’s deputy military commander/chief of external operations, Abu Masn, known as Muhammad Atef in the west, was killed in a drone strike. He was probably the #3 guy in the organization and certainly a possible successor to bin Laden. The point I’m making is that it didn’t take long for drones to show their worth in this type of conflict insofar as keeping terrorists off-balance and denying them an operational safe haven.

Still, there is no question that civilian casualties as a result of these strikes have hurt our image in the Arab world and they receive much more coverage abroad than they do in the at home. Another thing to take into consideration is that the media tends to liberal and thus they may not be inclined to criticize Obama’s policies.
