Again, you repeat your fantasy of how you would commit fraud if you were a beneficiary of the SNAP program without thinking about what you're actually proposing.
The problem with your scheme is that baby momma's friends are all also using EBT cards because they're cash-strapped to the same extent that baby momma is.
Do you seriously think that a woman who's on SNAP has tons of friends who have the cash to assist her in perpetrating her fraud? Or is it more likely that all of them are in the same boat, and save their cash for cigarettes, alcohol and narcotics, which you can't buy with SNAP?
I am wholly for reforming SNAP and eliminating entire classes of items you can currently buy with the benefits. Non-nutritive snack foods and soft drinks are at the top of my list.
I'm also for adding personal and social responsibility components to the program, but I doubt there's the political will to do it, because it would cost shitloads of money to do it. The biggest problem with SNAP program and most other poverty mitigation programs as they're currently set up is they try to get things done on the cheap.
