Romney is pro gay-marraige... which is a +, but i feel like he's going to be an extremely conservative president despite all the shit he's saying now if he gets elected which kinda sucks.

Oh, to answer postpoppunk's question, I would say Obama due to the way he has handled 'The Long War'. I was impressed when Romney mentioned the Haqqani Network in the debate. At least he knows who they are.

We have been in an undeclared war with them for years now, but very few people in this country have ever heard of them.

I like the way he has handled the war against terrorism. He got rid of Git Mo and replaced it with drone strikes. He's actually been quite hawkish in many regards contrary to how democrats are sometimes viewed.

It's too soon to tell if his strategy will work long term, but at least he gives me something fascinating to read about everyday.

I'm voting for Romney because 23 million people are out of work, and only Mitt has business experience and leadership. He'll fix the economy so everyone can get a job.

The reason why, IMO, is because Obama isn't interested in taking terrorists alive. Just ask Osama bin Laden.

Can you imagine the circus an OBL trial would have been? Two bullets, one to the head, the other to the heart, was Obama's alternative. Ratcheting up the drone campaign was a decision made early on in his administration. As a consequence we have fewer new detainees to deal with.


That's not to say Bush didn't use drones because he did, especially towards the end of his second term but Obama made the killing of terrorists with drones one of, if not, the cornerstone of his AQ strategy. Of course Obama has never come out and said this publicly but he doesn't really have to.

With or without GitMo, there are still the CIA black sites.
