We had a shitload of audio/video stores in this area back in the day? Are any of them still open?

They sold everything televisions to stereos and everything in between.
Are any of them still open?

The only one I can think of is The Big Screen Store.

Did Best Buy kill off the rest of them?

The Gifted Listener has been around for awhile

I forget the name but they have a store down near Bailey's Xroads and over in Maryland and did heavy tv advertising at one time but very little these days

Does Graffitti still have a retail store in DC or are they now only home theatre installers only?

Oh man I remember Tweeters, Myer Emco, Audio Boys (sp?), and a few others. Sad to say I believe a lot of them lost to the big box stores like Best Buy. I am sure there are a couple independently owned you just have to search. Or you could go to any pawn shop in Manassas.
