Shining is been on, so many times. I would hope they would show a "Director's cut' with this film re-released. I believe a lot of footage was cut out. I noticed when Jack met the ghost of Grady, Jack said he read about Grady in the newspapers, and on Jack's desk you'll noticed some old newspapers that he was refering to. Stuff taken out and reshown makes the movie interesting, like the re-release "lawrence of Arabia".
