Arrest Made in Stabbing Death of Henri Pratt
Pratt was fatally stabbed in Capitol Heights

WASHINGTON - FOX 5’s Matt Ackland has learned that there has been an arrest in the murder of Henri Pratt.
According to Prince George’s County Police, the suspect was being held in D.C. on unrelated charges.
The suspect, who is an adult male, is now is awaiting extradition from the District to Prince George’s County where he will be charged with first-degree murder.
According to friends, the 26-year-old Pratt attempted to break up a fight while riding on a party bus on June 26 in Capitol Heights. When Pratt got off the bus along Hastings Drive, he and another man were stabbed.
Pratt was transported to local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The other victim, a 24-year-old man, survived.
Pratt leaves behind a three-year-old daughter named Londyn.
Pratt’s funeral is scheduled on Thursday at Greater Saint John Church in Upper Marlboro. Visitation will start at 10 a.m. and services will begin at 11 a.m.

OBITUARY
On Sunday, June 26, 2011, we were deeply saddened by the sudden departure from this life a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, Henri Dominic Pratt.
Born on June 2, 1985 at Prince George's Hospital in Cheverly, MD, Henri was a loving son to Henry Pratt III and the late Lenora Pratt and a devoted father to Londyn Belle. He was a member of Greater Saint John Church in Upper Marlboro, and was educated in Prince George's County Public Schools in Maryland. During high school, Henri was an ROTC cadet where he received rewards for leadership training and outstanding cadet. Upon graduation from Surrattsville High School in Clinton, MD in June 2003, Henri attended Prince George's Community College before entering the workforce full-time. In 2001, he began his first job at Taco Bell as a cashier, where over the years, he was promoted to manager. He resigned from that position in 2009. From there, he worked at Ikea in College Park, MD. He was then employed by Wackenhut Services, Inc. as a special police at Fort Myers military base in Arlington, VA. His next endeavor was to take the fire fighter's test on July 12, 2011.
Henri was a very peaceful and fun loving man who enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Londyn, family and many friends. As a self-driven man, Henri was always looking to better himself as well as his friends. He loved to laugh and have a good time and enjoyed making others laugh as well. When it came to fashion, Henri was a stylish dresser. He was known for saying, "I'm swaggin' on 'em," because he knew he looked good, and you couldn't tell him otherwise. Socializing and gathering amongst friends is what Henri loved to do. Because of his charming personality, wherever he went he was always the center of attention, especially with the ladies. He had a saying, "All these BLENS and only one me."
Henri will be greatly missed and will always remain beloved, admired, and dearly treasured by both family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving father, Henry Pratt, III; a precious daughter, Londyn Belle; two brothers: Kareem Pratt and Christopher Scott; two sisters: Jillian Scott and Jada Pratt; a paternal grandmother: Mattie Pratt; maternal grandparents: Leonard Strachan, Sr. and Ruby Strachan; five aunts: Chiquetta (Terry), Robbin, Joyce, Gloria, and Deborah; two nieces: Aaliyah and Amiyah; three uncles: Leonard Jr. (Irene), Reginald, Louis (Barbara); great aunts: Claudell (Lawrence) and Martha; a great uncle: Daniel (Charlene); and a host of family and friends

man...dis man was a good dude 4real! dis is jaurod holmes...i used 2 sit rite next 2 him n health class an he was just a funny dude wasnt out there! he enjoyed life... and was a partyer, hard worker and im glad those bama ass people got sent 2 jail... God rest his soul...much luv 2 his family and every body
