Guy gets his door kicked in by FBI agents and called a creep and pedophile because his IP address had been used for downloading kiddie porn. Took the police three days to realize he hadn't been looking at child porn, his neighbor was using the unsecured router to look at kids on the internet.

The guy with the unsecured router was still questioned by the FBI, let's not forget he had his home invaded by armed agents and had his computer analyzed by forensics to determine he wasn't the one that downloaded the porn.

Save yourself the headache and secure your router. It isn't hard.
