The fat kid used a lot of restraint, he took a couple of hits before he retaliated. He did the right thing and I salute him for his restraint. His back was literally against the wall.

Looked to me like there was more than one individual picking on the "winner". When the winner did his damage, a second guy came forward. THEN the girl came forward and told HIM to get lost!

She's the hero; stopped the violence right then.

I don't think the second taller kid was in the mood to do anything. Just a macho display in fron of the girls who were watching. The poor kid who got slammed should have payed more attention in Physics class when they covered mass and energy.

if you missed the Video the little kid basically tried to choke the fat kid, who's back was against a wall. The little kid then backed up, did some fancy foot work and punched the fat kid in the belly 2 or 3 times. The fat kid fends off this assault but doesnt do anything but stand there. The little kid then tried to grapple. this is a tactical error on his part cuz the fat kid CLEARLY has the advantage there. The little kid then tries to drag the fat kid down by the neck in a headlock but the fat kid, finally having enough of this mother FUCKIN SHIT grabs the little kid, picks up up about shoulder hieght and slams him face first onto the sidewalk. The Fat kids backs up from the little kid and doesnt do anything else. The little kid is trying to get up but he clearly has the wind knocked out of him and injured his leg or ankle. He stumbles repeatedly finally getting up. Another kid, taller and a little stronger looking moves towards the fat kid who walks away. A girl gets inbetween the new skinny kid as the fat kid walks away. Finally the first skinny kid stumbles over to the wall right in front of where the person holding the camera is and you can see a GIANT RED MARK ON HIS FACE, the beginnings if a BLACK EYE, split lip and facial contusions. Finally you see the second skinny kid start chasing the fat kid at a walking pace. I wonder if there was a second fight and what the outcome of THAT face off was?

My guess would be just verbal. The fat kid demonstrated not to push him too far. A fair warning to any other tough guys. I don't think nothing further happened. Just a case of little man syndrome taken to the extreme. Live and learn.

I don't know what precipitated this (all the facts), but seems to me if the big kid got suspended the little kid should too. They more then likely said the big kid should have walked away. Right, whoever turns their back on a situation that can leave you hurting is a fool.Like turning your back on a mad dog.

FAT KIDS = 4 DAY SUSPENSION

I'm sorry but the big kid should have just ignored the situation and left. It is evident in the frames that he was verbally taunting the little guy. The mature thing would have been to ignore the situation and leave. He had plenty of opportunities as you can clearly see. I'm not saying the little kid was right, but he is like the little dog teasing the big dog. The big kid clearly wanted to hurt maybe3 even kill the little guy and nothing can justify that in the school yard. In this situation my judgement would be to punish the big kid more severly.

He isn't ten years old, the article said he is a Year 10 boy and the small kid that started the fight is a Year 7 boy. Some sort of grade ranking they have in Australia.

The sad fact is that the big kid looks really big for his age - little tough guys will always challenge him. He needs to learn how to defeat his enemies without killing them. Its not fair but neither will a manslaughter conviction.

Maybe the big kid is a real gentle soul who was always picked on. Never gets a valentine card from his classmats, is always picked last to participate in spots, called creepy y the girls, and just flipped. Said I'm not going to take this anymore and made a statement. Nothing worse then a mean little bugger.
