Hawaiis governor elect says he was a friend of Obamas parents and that he was indeed born here and will produce the birth certificate. I've always thought this was a wild goose chase and makes the stupid look stupider. Really there is no reason in the world to believe Obama was born in Kenya. His parents may have both been horrible commies and America haters, but I never thought there was a timeline that realistically suggested he was born internationally.

I think Obama and his advisors have let this go on purposely to allow some righty zealots to further embarass or discredit themselves but for another reason also. The other reason is to deflect from releasing college records and to be in position to paint the people demanding the college records as the same kinds of kooks believing Barry Obama was born overseas.

The college records and writings may have a good bit of public interest and may reveal Obama went to school on affirmative action programs or through a grant from a lefty foundation. Or perhaps some young and foolishly idealistic writings that sound a little socialistic. Mixing the two issues together, birth certificate and college records allows Obama the position to appear persecuted and at the same time avoid the truth about his college years.

I'm not saying he went to school on affirmative action or wrote regretable things as a student, but that could be a strong possibility.

We'll just have to wait until the 2012 election. 20 or so states will require birth certificate proof in order to be on the ballot.

Other than not wanting to even acknowledge the false-"issue", I can't think of a good reason for not revealing the actual Birth Certificate unles it has something on it that could make things worse - especially since that other official document has already been released.

So I have to assume, given that weak theory, that there's something on the actual Birth Certificate that's simply incorrect.

Here Chris Matthews talks about the issue. He agrees the hard copy of the birth certificate should be released.

Matthews plays a little game here though. He quotes a poll that says 58% of Americans bleive Obama was born in America, 20% beleive he wasn't and 23% do not know. ( sounds like 101% actually) Matthews jumps to the assumption that the 23% who don't know are misinformed or political enemies so he can conveniently reach a figure that is close to the electoral percentage that opposed Obama. IN truth this 23% could be from either party and truly not know Obamas orgins (or care). "Man on the street" interviews will get people who can't name the VP or Sec State either, and I would attribute many of the 23% to that.

This rumor is easy enough to quash and I think it will be. But don't stop there, release his college records. They are federally protected but can be released with Obamas consent.

Not sure but I bet that got his attention and may have been a clue to get the fuck out. Again, I don't have to go there to know it's crazy. Some things need to be changed, not understood.

Come On share your theory us. What do you assume so much to be incorrect about the birth certificate that would put his eligibilty for president in doubt? Isn't it easy to get a birth certificate corrected or changed for mistakes or updates to add a parent name? I'm like alot folks wondering now, this thing could have easily been solved by him by showing his birth certificate that he has in his possession. As an adult I have mine, which I have to use for passport, driver license, security clearance, etc.

Why his college and school records? Hell just because he graduated from Harvard Law School magna cum laude doesn’t mean BO had a high GPA. It just means that after subtracting the students who graduated summa cum laude, of the remaining students, he graduated in the top 10% of his class. Theoretically, he could have had a C average.
