King in a speech said if you are a street sweeper be the best street sweeper you can be. Obama says if you are a street sweeper someone is holding you down. King preached responsibility while Obama preaches that you are owed a living even if you do not want to work

Street sweepers on some city payrolls are highly paid and have great benefits.
In fact in NYC some years ago, the Teachers Union was pissing and moaning about the guys running the sweepers having a better package than the teachers.
If Obama really wanted to be inspirational, he'd urge people to be educated and to work hard, not blame society for "holding you down."

The problem today is that the "civil rights" leaders and the Dems in particular are envious of MLK. They all want to be him so they just manufacture bullshit issue after bullshit issue in an attempt to propel themselves to greatness. Theyre all pissed they either missed the 60s or were on the wrong side of the civil rights movement so theyre going to manufacture a new one for themselves.

He was anti-American but he was right about civil rights. Communist ties however can never be considered American and I dont think it would go over to well that most of his graduate school work was plagiarized or that he liked to beat up prostitutes but why let the truth get in the way.
