Anyone else find it ironic that we are on the brink of war with North Korea and the media are spending all of their time covering our habits of mass consumption?

Well, the economy is always big news, and since we've been continuously at war with at least one or two countries since January of 1990 war just isn't big news anymore.

Created in the image of man,

by the masses, for the masses.

Let us be thankful we have an occupation to fill.

Work hard; increase production,

prevent accidents, and be happy.

Let us be thankful we have commerce.

Buy more. Buy more now. Buy more and be happy.

Love that album, and that song is great. "No longer frantic, like a cat tied to a stick that's driven into frozen winter shit..."

The war isn't big news now. That is ... until we pull out our real weapons and dust a country so they don't F* with us anymore. Now, that will be some exciting news. Plus, taking things to this extreme means little work for our Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.

Nice, and with a creepy avant garde video to go with it, too.

Sorry, but I can't help but laugh when I see this video.
This is all happening at a Target store.
Were they giving away free TV's? No
Were they giving anything for free? No
Does Target sell ANYTHING that I would risk getting trampled over? NO

One of the guys that gets trampled in the video here, manages to climb out and looks like he is suffering and in great pain, but once he sees others going past him, suddenly gets better and joins in the horde.
