I don't believe anyone fighting on behalf of a despot like Assad is worthy of sympathy if they die in combat.

Then again, like you said, the humanity in me is offended witnessing the death of another human being - irrespective of politics.

Someone needs to play this video and others like it in Congress before they make a vote to give these savages support. I want McCain, Kerry, and the others to stand up after watching this and say, "We need to give aid and support to these rebels." If they believe that Assad needs to be overthrown then that is fine. They have the right to think that. But they need to present their case openly and truthfully. Their narrative that the FSA are the poor victims and good guys just trying to fight for peace is a flat out LIE.

Absolutely no good will become of this. What is the #1 reason why Muslims hate us? Because we stick our nose in Middle Eastern affairs. This is one fight we should be watching from the spactator stands. We get involved and some radical group is going to find a way to bloody our noses.

Damn! Dude had his leg blown off, probably got third degree burns too. In some ways, it was humane to put him out of his misery. It's notlike there is a hopsital anyone could have taken him to for care. If they didn't shoot him, he would have bled out in a short while anyway.

I wonder what happened to the runner. That guy could sprint!

The compassionate human side of me feels bad that this dude's life ended in such a horrific way. The realist in me says fuck him. His job is to kill civilians of his own country.
