British PM: We Must Act against Assad.

This follows the French Socialist (literally not a pejorative!) President Francois Hallande's declaration that we had to do something.

"David Cameron backed down and agreed to delay a military attack on Syria following a growing revolt over the UK's rushed response to the crisis on Wednesday night.

The Prime Minister has now said he will wait for a report by United Nations weapons inspectors before seeking the approval of MPs for “direct British involvement” in the Syrian intervention."

Follow the money reminder of the day:

Russia doesn't want us getting involved because they supply something in the neighborhood of 80% of all of Europe's energy needs.

Syria (and eventually Jordan) is currently in play because Europe needs/wants a mega pipeline to run through the country so they can buy natural gas from Iran.

The US has to get involved because our industrialists are building the pipeline and our politicians are heavily invested in it.

Follow the money. Always follow the money.
