The Deep South has a very large Negro popluation. Unlike the north, where there are hardly any at all except inthe larger cities, where they all stay in their own neighborhoods. Even Virginia has a larger black population than most states. This means the South is actually less segergated. But it means that racial tension is higher. Some places have more negroes than whites in the rural countiesin the Deep South. I never understood why racism is more in the South. Having been to a lot of areas in the Deep South, I now understand why.

I heard the true side of the story today. This was not mentioned in the article, but the group came in with aboslutely no resverations and were upset they had to wait and were actually harassing customers. It had nothing to do with their race, as they claim. They were insulting and harrassing customers because they had to wait in line like everybody else. This is the day and age of enitlement. And because it happened in South Carolina and not Connecticut or Michigan, the news media is on it like ducks on a junebug.

You so funny, I have lived in the south and also outside NYC. You talk about racism try NYC. I have heard blacks called names I never heard before.

The big issue was when a deaf white girl accidentally stepped on the foot of one of the large group massed in the entryway. She did not hear them yell at her to apologize.

They then told her they were going to "kick her white fucking ass" disrupting others in the place.

They were then asked to leave. Hey folks, sometimes it isn't because you are black it is because you are an asshole.
