Weiner wants the GOP to stop fooling around

It's not even that he disagrees with the GOP, but that they fuck around and waste everyone's time instead of legitimately defending their points of view and using their minds.

"Hey, lets do everything we can to prevent Obama from passing bills, and then blame Obama for not getting anything done."

That is the modern-day Republican party's strategy. It helps nobody but the Republican party. It doesn't help America in any way.

Anything the Dems try to pass, the GOP blocks. It doesn’t matter if they’re “for” the issue or not–they’ll find a way to vote against any bill pushed by Obama or Dems. Even a no-brainer issue like providing care for 9/11 responders.

Do you even know what the argument was about? Seriously, if you did, you would be outraged? You say Republicans have no ideas, right? If the Rules Committee doesn't allow GOP ideas to be brought to the floor and even be discussed, you are OK with that? One way to silence opposition is to shut them out of the process. Weiner and his fellow Democrats want to see this continue. I always hear about this Reoublican party of "no" but what everyone fails to understand is that the Rules Committee never allows Republican amendments.

The GOP needs to grow up and realize they're not in charge. If they don't like it that their ideas are being ignored, boo fucking hoo. Vote for what you think is right instead of casting some passive/aggressive anti-vote because you can't stop whining.

Actually, that's what caused the problem. The Republicans inserted a controversial--and unrelated--amendment about immigration into and otherwise popular bill.

...and yet, the Democrats are STILL in the majority correct? So why is this a problem again? Right - the real problem is the Democrats are fighting amongst themselves - but it always looks good to try and paint the Republicans as the REAL problem.

FAIL on the Democrats head this time. The Congressman's faux rage would be better directed at his compatriots who seem to be having issues of their own. Looks like a good time to burn folks at the stake like Rangel and Waters huh?

More then a simple majority was needed to stop republikans from loading the bill with radical right amendments.

I don't know if the guy is more of a Wiener, or a Whiner. Either way, he belongs in a bun, on the grill, and buried under mounds of his own unrelished sour krautedness.

The Republicans better wake up or they are going to have a tough time in November. Democrats are going to slam them with ads detailing Republican votes over the last two year. That combined with Tea Party candidates and it's not looking pretty.

If unemployment remains at close to 10% - no, they won't.

Yes, that is your dream isn't it (R)V - having the welfare state dependent masses voting in the folks who continue to give them everyone else's money.

I'm sorry I just can't take anyone with the last name of "Weiner" seriously.I mean come on! Look at this dork!

Give me a fucking break.

A little more on this clown;

"Weiner married Huma Abedin, a longtime personal aide of Hillary Clinton, on July 10, 2010. Former president Bill Clinton officiated the wedding. Weiner proposed to Abedin on May 23, 2009. Weiner is a friend of Ben Affleck, whom he met while Affleck was researching the role of a young and ambitious politician on Capitol Hill in 2008.[33] "We got into a chest-to-chest shouting match over Obama–Clinton within about four minutes. Literally, people were outside the office wondering if they should go in and separate us," Weiner has said about one of their first encounters." (from wikipedia)

What kind of a girl marries a Weiner you ask?
h+abedin+hillary+assistant+engaged+antho

And how about that Weiner/Affleck showdown.

Dream team, brain trust powerhouse? You tell me.

This guy is another example of someone who couldn't make it in the real world if it was to save his soul.
A graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh, Weiner was an aide to then-U.S. Representative Charles Schumer (1985–91) before serving as a member of the New York City Council from 1992 to 1998.

He has consistently won his district by wide margins and is sure to be on the public dole for years to come.
All he makes me think of is What The Fuck is wrong with the people that live in New Yorks 9th Congressional District.

Johnny you're being very charitable here. Oh I forgot! he roomated with Stewart. That for sure makes him well qualified to construct rules for us all to live by. The guy is a dink. And Bubba officiated at his wedding? What do you bet he knocked the bottom outta that thing before Weiner tapped it......

I never said he was or wasn't, I'm not making that argument. In fact, I knew nothing of the man before today and never heard or saw him before I watched that video. You appear to be attempting to make such an argument, but you have yet to say one single thing that indicates he's not qualified to be a representative. In fact, you have yet to mention an issue you even simply disagree with him on.

I don't care. His name is Weiner. Thats all it takes for me not to like the guy. That and of course he's another scrawny little weak Lib that cries like a bitch about everything. He was picked on and bullied frequently while growing up. But watch out now!! Weiner has a microphone!

I frown on goat abuse also. Fucking Weiner!

Goat Attacks Weiner and has its way!

We’re not kidding. Weiner was having another one of his self-important-look-at-me-I’m-Weiner press conferences and he was attacked by a goat–which he brought along to illustrate some point that no one paid attention to*. The prop comic of congress was actually “speared” by one of the goats “pointy, foot-long horns, hard enough to draw blood.”

We wish Weiner a speedy recovery.

According to a statement from Weiner's office, the mohair goat farming industry received nearly $1 million in subsidies last year. After a handful of bad wool-and-goat related puns, the two lawmakers decried the subsidies as wasteful government spending.

"Jason and I may not agree on very much," Weiner said of his GOP colleague, "but we're united against this waste."

So he shouldn't have press conferences with members of the opposing party to try to bring attention to wasteful spending in Washington?

No. I agree with canceling subsidies for everything including farmers. But the goat was the innocent victim here and you can't blame it for not trusting Weiner.
