Albert Haynesworth targeted in $10 million paternity suit, report says
Defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth is nowhere near the team's organized team activity (OTA) today at Redskins Park, but he's still making headlines.
The New York Post reported this morning that a Brooklyn stripper, Silvia Mena, is suing Haynesworth for $10 million, claiming that she's carrying his child and receiving no support from him
.
The Post cited papers scheduled to be filed Wednesday that contend that Mena met Haynesworth in Miami last year during Super Bowl week, but their relationship ended in February after Haynesworth learned Mena was pregnant. Mena is currently four months pregnant, according to the report.
"This man is worth millions," Mena's attorney told the New York Post. "She has had to apply for Medicaid to take care of her pregnancy."
According to the court papers, a Haynesworth assistant suggested Mena visit with an NFL doctor, but Mena didn't because she feared "some effort might be made to purposefully make her lose the child."
Haynesworth's agent declined to comment to New York Post.
