what's that sound effect in the Japanese Spiderman and Indian Superman videos--you hear it a lot in dancehall music. It's like a synth drum thing.

Has anyone considered the geopolitical implications of the international response to the Haitian earthquake?

What about the Haitian government? Will this disaster bring about change, or will they continue with the status quo? I always considered their parliamentary republic to be rife with corruption.
