TV Show "Thirtysomething": Advice Needed

Pulled in by its fantastic theme song, I have now watched the first five episodes of this show on YouTube. I am considering whether to rent the rest of it on DVD.
Positives (so far):
Realistic story lines
Decent acting
The baby is cute
Mel Harris and Patricia Wettig are good looking
Negatives:
Mel Harris and Patricia Wettig are not hot
Lots of bitchy women make it almost too realistic
For those of you who watched this show, is it worth sticking with it? Does the bitching become more tolerable, or does it just get depressing?

No. It's a bunch of self-involved Baby Boomers bitching and moaning about their lives week after week with no satisfying resolution. I lived it in the 80s (my siblings were 30-somethings). Get out while you still can.
