what kind of man doesn't even take care of his own son? its no man at all a father is ultimatly important for a child if you can't support him financilly at least spend time with him so he doesn't grow up to have bastard children. wtf is wrong with the world today

According to the notes, the medications included Topamax (anti-seizure meds also to prevent migraines), Methylprednisolone (anti-inflammatory), Fluoxetine (depression med), Klonopin (anxiety med), Carbamazepine (treats Diabetic symptoms and is also a bipolar med), Ativan (anxiety med), Vicoprofen (pain reliever), Propranolol (hypertension, used to prevent heart attacks), Biaxin (antibiotic), Hydrocodone (pain med) and miscellaneous vitamins.

My guess is that the drug combo, combined with her "flu like" symptoms lead to a cardiac arrest.

I don't know about "chemical imbalance." I do know that your level of Serotonin contributes to whether or not you are depressed. I believe people experience bipolar symptoms when triggered by another cause. I have actually never seen or heard of anyone have a bipolar tangent that wasn't caused entirely or in part by another source (pill, alcohol, sugar or mix of things).
I also believe that most people that claim to have bipolar disorder, do not.
Psychiatrists are making a great living off convincing people they have something genetically wrong with them, when really a good dose of psychotherapy would be more effective and wouldn't create a life long addiction to drugs. It's much easier and profitable to prescribe something and have the patient keep coming back.
I have a close friend that is experiencing this whole scam right now.

It's much easier and profitable to prescribe something and have the patient keep coming back.
I have a close friend that is experiencing this whole scam right now.

Oh, I've seen it in two people that I've known closely. One which I dated for about 3 years and one a good friend of my wife.
The one I dated went through ENORMOUS spells of euphoria then equally ENORMOUS crashes of depression. You could see it coming. She smoked but did not drink. The cycles were much longer than sugar highs - culminating in a out in out suicide attempt. She moved back to Utah to be with her family.

I went through the exact same situation with this friend of mine. In the beginning, she was depressed about her ex-bf, but in general she was fine. She went to a shrink and he prescribed her some pills and that's when things started going haywire.
She would be fine one second, then become crazy and violent. On top of all this, she drank alcohol. I kept trying to get her off the pills, but she loved the euphoric high they put her on. The bad side was when she came down off the pills and turned into a raging psychopath. Needless to say, I dumped her crazy ass but have remained friends with her for many years. She too, has attempted suicide, but only after taking the drugs.
Personally, I think the psychiatrist that prescribed the drugs and got her addicted is no better than a street pusher and should be held accountable when she finally does off herself (which is just a matter of time).

I know a boy who had a heart attack at 17. He died while bagging groceries. He just twisted his body a certain way and that spiked it. But usually if you have a heart attack that young-its a birth defect. I heard she was having flu like symptoms , though. Well, If you remove the 'starlet' part of the equation, and just said how many 30 something women die of cardiovascular disease the odds of a CVD death outweigh overdose.
That said, if the TMZ report is correct, she was taking a lot of pills. At least one of them was a beta blocker (Propranolol) which *may* indicate she (and presumably her doctors) was aware she was at risk for CVD. Or it could have been for migraines since she was taking some migraine medicine too. And serious migraines have been linked to a higher heart disease risk in women.

I'm going to revise my predicted Brittany death reasons. I'm going with (3), now unpopular reasons, in order of likelihood (IMHO):

'insulin syringes' laying around? Doesn't sound like diabetics I know. Most diabetics that don't take the pill don't use syringes anymore. They have a self contained insulin shot dispenser nowadays.
