Is anyone tired of the Vince vs. RV contest?
Posted by: Third Party Observer ()

Registered Voter and Vince are turning the off-topic section into a political forum. Day in and day out the two are dueling with their polarized beliefs.

Enough is enough!

Well, as opposed to endless posts on Meade?? Or perhaps the comparisons of skanky skinny models and hos?

I offer alternative content. As they say, change the channel if you don't like the program.

But far be it from you to act like you aren't a troll or a stalker.

I hate to be the one to break into this thread that appears to have been started by a troll and then elsewhile exclusively a vince and RV thread.

Nothing Registered Voter has posted has been a lie. It might be misrepresented, taken out of context, or more often than not, just interpreted differently based on his political bent.

Vince, you sometimes go off the rails. I actually agree with some of what you post, but you do it in such a way that it makes your argument seem a little bit offensive.

If I had to give olympic judges type scores to both of you, I'd say that RV gets an 8.9, and you get a 7.6.

You lost a lot of points for style. RV loses points for being way too dogmatic and only scored so high because he is still willing to engage in a real, mature debate.

I was actually just going to respond to the troll - unfortunately Vince has this hard-on for me. Notice that most times there could be 5 other responses from various posters, and it will be my particular comment he latches on to.

Whatever, I enjoy the diversion. I am not that dogmatic - I actually want them to legalize marijuana amongst other things. I just get sick of all the religion bashing, and since that seems to be about 90 percent of the argument in politics (abortion, Romney-Mormon, Palin-religious moron, family values, etc) - especially here - I feel the need to argue the point sometimes. And yes, since I have a conservative-libertarian bent, I tend to favor the Republicans with limited choices.

I was brought up in a Christian home (although I was never baptized - probably a good thing) but never really attended church. So I just don't get the whole nuclear option on religious people. Who cares what religion people are? If they (religious people) were so terrible we wouldn't even have a country, let alone the freedoms we enjoy today. People want to paint this broad brush on folks if they even mention they believe in God, let alone Christ. I ended up being a Deist, but I also learned about tolerance of other people's beliefs - even atheists (I get it, I just think morals don't occur in a vacuum). All this race baiting is right up there with it - we are all people, good, bad, ugly, beautiful, nutty, etc. People need to get past all the colors - on either end of the argument.

So you all can think whatever you want, even the inktards and others who seem to be threatened somehow by my comments. You know, I ignore the whacky threads just fine, they can feel free to ignore mine.

That's why you scored an 8.9.

You definitely comment in line with the "republican" point of view.

But you don't summarily dismiss the other viewpoint.

It's all politics.

At least you are willing to recognize the other side.

NOW, let me tell you, there are no sides. It's a game being played against the voting population.

I motion for a new area of the site, strictly for politcal bickering. A place where important topics such as "do strippers make good girlfriends" or "pictures of girls on toilets" is not overrun by liberal/conservative discourse.

You are frequently challenged on your posts that are not well thought-out and border on senseless ranting. You are barely intelligent enough to copy-paste your opinions from your left-wing talking point Web sites, and it shows in the poor writing you use that fills out the rest. You do not respond to those challenges, you run away and don't post in the thread anymore, moving on to post a new thread with more garbage.

Vince, you are a liar.

In any case Vince - you should follow your own advice. Do you realize that most of my post count is due to either responding to your stupid comments, or those of some other anonymous trolls? I guess you just want the attention so much you have to post in my threads? Because it really looks that way.

Get over yourself....you need a pat on your back...at least you discuss topics that should be of interest to people. You are just always on the wrong side of an issue..the republican dogma side. Except for your reported support of legalizing marijuana..which by the way I cant remember the last time you posted on that subject....you are a cut and paste republican.

I think you are a genius. Political debate on this forum should be reduced to which side can produce the hottest picture of a woman, preferably on a toilet...

But as a compromise, I'll be okay with all the political debate IF (and only if) every political post has a sexy woman attached.
