Like I Said

I find the incessant use of the inane locution "like I said" to be annoying in the extreme. It's made even more annoying by the fact that it's often used when the speaker is not repeating himself. This vile phrase has permeated a large part of what's left of American society and is almost certainly a harbinger of further decline into the stupidity and ignorance that is rapidly becoming the hallmark of this society.

I really hate it when people end a sentence with, "right now" "I really feel like we need to talk, right now" or "Imm just so overwhelmed, right now" or "ok, I want to get out of here and go party, right now" Its a redundant phrase tacked onto the end of a sentence.

"Let's be clear." Obama uses that for his verbal pause and transitional phrase the way Reagan used "well" as a verbal crutch.

Obama also says "Make no mistake" far too often but he may be referring to the one that was made last November.
