torture photos

Why is it important to release torture pictures but the pictures of bodies falling (fallen) from WTC are never shown? Why not release all torture photos? Beheadings included.

Who's got the 9/11 photos? If it's the government, then they *could* be compelled to release them. I suspect what photos do exist are owned by private individuals. The torture pictures are also owned by the government. So therefore, the people.

Time Magazine published some of those pics shortly after 9-11. Use google image search and you will find some of them.

Maybe pictures of 9/11 aren't shown every night on TV because that was 8 years ago and any network that did that would soon be out of business because everyone got their fill of 9/11 during 9/11 and the weeks that followed. Even Fox doesn't do that.

i am basically against torture when used in most situations, because who can make the right decision that torture is needed, but im against releasing these photos. All they will do is fuel anti-american sentiment around the world, they will not fix any problems, they will only cause more.
