Whats it like? Is it full of sterotypical New Jersey-ites, i.e. Snooki type women and Guidos wearing wife beater shirts? I looked at a website and 90% of the motels near the beach look like dumps where they could film a Psycho sequel.

It used to be nice, like in the 60's and 70's. Nice beach, decent water, boardwalk was filled with great places to eat, great bars in town.

But it started to go downhill in the 80's and 90's ,around the time when the mob controled carting companies started dumping hospital waste in the ocean , and it would wash up on shore.

Right around the same time , the backwards foreigners and our homegrown ignoramuses started infesting the areawith a vengence.

We used to see the Snooki types roaming around with their drama and desperate attention seeking tactics, and avoid them like the plauge. Snooki and her friends aren't Jersey natives, they are among the unwanted invaders from places like Staten Island and Brooklyn.

They always seemed to be fussing among themselves or fighting with others.

It didn't ever look like they were having fun or being relaxed.

Yeah,now formally wonderful Jersey shore spots like Asbury Park and Seaside Heights have fallen victim to the low lifes, from the dramatic Guidos to the primitive foreigners and the criminally savage negroes and hispanics.

Fun Fact: New Jersey charges use a beach use fee. Not a parking fee. A beach use fee. True story.

If you want crowds and frills Seaside Hts or Ocean City NJ are it. Similar to OCMD but a lot more NJ/NY flavor.

All the talk about the filthy water is media hype from the 80's or 90's. It's no nastier than Rehoboth.

If you want something a little more quiet, hit Surf City or Sea Isle City.
