Why Beat me up because I'm a Conspiracy Theorist
Posted by: Rod ()
Date: January 04, 2009 05:15PM

I listen to Alex Jones on the radio or phone (1 575 464 3070) I read books like the Forth Reich by Jim Mars and reviewed by the Washing Post.I went out and saw the Bilderbergers meeting in West field which was ignored by the establishment press even though Hillery and Obama were seen in a elevator there.

But generally if you say anything about CT on the forum you are dissed and demonized as a ignoramus. Why? A theory attempts to make order out of chaos.

1. One reason might be because CT tends to demonize your popular political figure. You can't let that happen or your whole concept falls down like a house of cards.

2. You just don't think. You watch sports and play video games and anyone who comes up with anything not popular should be vilified.

3.It's just too big a paradigm for you.

4. Some other reason.

Any way I wanted to ask why if you have in the past been so negative about people who propose Conspiracy Theory?

Well, I don't know for sure, but my theory is that Meeper, in conjunction with the Rand Corporation, conspired with Cary to publish this web site with the goal of luring good intentioned folks like yourself to post conspiracy theories. That way they could more easily monitor what's going on in the underground (get it, Fairfax Underground?) movement. Attacking you when you post that kind of stuff actually encourages you to post more so they get even more information. I also suspect that when they delete posts or threads (see spunky) they are trying to get you to search for things so they can see what you are interested in. I'm personally trying to be very careful about what I post here. I think I saw a strange car parked outside my house earlier today.

You are dissed and demonized because most of the conspiracy theories don't hold water. For example, why would the government use two remote-controlled jets in NY, a cruise missile on the Pentagon while at the same time a plane happened to be hijacked in PA which was shot down by the government? It makes no sense. Or, why on Earth would the CIA enlist the Mafia to shoot JFK in Dallas. Why not just poison the guy in his sleep and make it look like a heart attack?

No. It's because CT people provide ZERO evidence that Clinton killed anyone or that Barack Obama isn't a U.S. citizen. They come up with a bogus theory and then claim evidence to the contrary doesn't exist when, in fact, it does.

Plenty of respected historians, authors and researchers who have never played a video game in their lives have dispelled the most common Conspiracy Theories. I would argue that it is the intellectually lazy people who buy into these theories without any serious thought.

I firmly believe in the Bilderberger theory. You are not alone.
The European press pays a lot more attention that here in the U.S.
This is a self-appointed government of incredibly wealthy elitists
to feel they have a right to decide our economic and social fate.
I say screw'em. (and the Tri-lateralists too)

That's why they have all lost billions of dollars. It's part of a plan.

Right.

Shit! They meet regularly at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, Virginia! When I think of a fortress of solitude and secrecy, I think of a Marriott!

No, it's not that soy milk makes you gay. If you drink it, you are gay.

Actually, not that it will make you gay, but there is an estrogen-like compound in soy beans. I guess that is where that myth came from.

http://www.breastcancer.org/tips/nutrition/new_research/20080411.jsp

NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - Women with high blood levels of an estrogen-like compound found in soy seem to have a lower risk of developing breast cancer, a new study suggests.

Researchers found that among more than 24,000 middle-aged and older Japanese women, those with the highest levels of the compound, called genistein, were only one-third as likely as other women to develop breast cancer over 10 years.

That's your problem, right there.

Alex Jones is really just a disinformation agent.

At least he isn't like David Ickes, who believes that George Bush and most world leaders are shape-shifting reptiles, but he is just another tool of the divide and conquer strategy of the ruling elite.

Prisonplanet.com is a good website to get an aggregate of news with yet another angle or perspective, but I wouldn't take their ideas and their opinions at face value any more than I would take any one outlet's opinions at face value. Fox, Gannet, WaPo, NYT, TWT, Reuters, et al, they are all biased one way or the other. They all have an agenda to sell.

Given your point then Bob... isn't everyone a CT, who really knows our "true" reality at any given point in time? Does truth exist? Or is it our perception of the truth as we happen to see it ever how twisted it may be from reality. Sort of like the gossip game kids would play in school, the teacher starts a message out with one student until it goes through out the class only to become something else entirely. Our world is a lot like that classroom except with a lot more at stake, but the same communication problem...because humans are involved.

Rod...I'm not beating you up...we were both dead on about the Bail-outs! Lazy, hell! I would say those who don't use their God given brains and take the easy way out are the lazy ones!

I was right about the toxins in water supply.

I was right about the Chesapeake Bay.

These were later followed up with Post articles. Does that mean they are lazy too? WTL call them and tell'em I am sure they would love to hear your crazy babble...what's that?...Oh!! Ok!Then. Now go sit in the corner and be quiet until you can think of something more intelligent to say...Dig it?

I could go on... but why? I've made my point!

Before I go to bed I will inform you of one CT that has been pretty much accepted as fact. The killing of the buffalo years ago for no other reason then to destroy the Native Americans in the midwest and west. They didn't say that but that was the result and the desired results since that was their food supply. Americans only killed them for hides and left everything else...a waste and an insult to the dying indians. Greed!

Well, I forget who it was, but someone in Bush's Administration told a reporter "We're an empire now. While you are trying to figure out reality, we're creating new ones" (or something to that effect.)

Take the Iraq war. Was it WMDs? Was it 9/11? Was it oil? Ask 10 people why we invaded Iraq, and you'll get 10 different answers. Even George Bush now says that the reasons for invading Iraq were based on incorrect information. Yet somehow, in our new reality, it was still justified. Some people will never accept that it was a mistake, because they suffer from cognitive dissonance. CD, is, of course, one of the flaws in human nature that is exploited by people pursuing agendas. It is easy to use the concentrated power of misinformation to override the diffuse interests of the majority.

Calling something a "Conspiracy theory" is an easy way to dismiss uncomfortable information. Just look at how people will use all the straw men arguments to dismiss any questions about 9/11. As soon as you question the official story, people start throwing around "remote controlled planes" and "missiles" and what-not -- If I find it suspicious that our air defense protocols failed for the first time since they were created 60+ years ago, I must believe that the planes were remote controlled. If I mention that Payne Stewart's lear jet was intercepted by two F16's moments after it failed to respond to air traffic controllers, 23 months before 9/11, I must believe that a missile struck the pentagon.

If you want to see a blatant example of misinformation, read this week's newsweek article about Gaza, and then read Time's article. Time obviously wants to imply Iranian malfeasance by suggesting that "it is believed Iran is supplying the rockets" while Newsweek states that our own intelligence agencies have determined that the rockets are too big to fit in the tunnels Hamas uses to smuggle weapons into Gaza.

http://www.newsweek.com/id/177728

U.S. officials are also playing down Iran's support for Hamas in the ongoing war with Israel. While Hamas has certainly received moral and financial support, current and former U.S. officials say the sophisticated rockets Tehran has supplied to Hizbullah forces in Lebanon are too large to fit in the tunnels Hamas uses to smuggle weapons into Gaza. They also dismiss reports that Hamas might soon have weapons capable of hitting Israel's nuclear weapons factory at Dimona.

http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1869152,00.html

But even those modest goals will be hard to reach. Despite an 18-month blockade of Gaza, Hamas has shown itself to be adept at smuggling in rockets, many of them believed to be from Iran.

You need to brush up on your history. The buffalo were nearly wiped out because they were slaughtered to feed the men working on the railroads back then. If what you claim is true, then when the Indians were relocated to reservations the killing of the buffalo would have stopped. That didn't happen.

It was also considered to be fun sport to shoot buffalo from the trains as they were passing by.

That said, I hate you, Spunky, and I hope your dog dies.

There are no more Indians? Someone needs to tell the Oneida and the Sioux Nations they don't exist anymore.
