I don't understand how youer getting 60. It's 48. 12, 24, 36, 48. Multiples of 12. And it's also adding one to the first number and adding two to the last number.

Actually in mathematics 5+25=60 is wrong...disregards the incorrect answers 1+5=12
2+10=24
3+15=36
4+20=48
5+25=60

(7*1)+5=12
(7*2)+10=24
(7*3)+15=36
(7*4)+20=48
(7*5)+25=60
(7*6)+30=72
...

It also works if you (a+b) x 2

(2+10) x 2 = 24

5+25=30, 30x2=60

First reply was correct as well, not just 7

you could probably fix the right hand side with logarithms. adding logs is the same as multiplying. they just left out that some of these numbers are logs.
