I wonder why none of our conservative friends have posted this one yet:
WASHINGTON — More than half of U.S. citizens believe that most or all of the country's 11 million illegal immigrants should be deported, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Wednesday that highlights the difficulties facing lawmakers trying to reform the U.S. immigration system.
The online survey shows resistance to easing immigration laws despite the biggest push for reform in Congress since 2007.
Thirty percent of those polled think that most illegal immigrants, with some exceptions, should be deported, while 23 percent believe all illegal immigrants should be deported.
Only 5 percent believe all illegal immigrants should be allowed to stay in the United States legally, and 31 percent want most illegal immigrants to stay.

Of course it could be because it was reported in the MSM, and because that 5% figure doesn't fit with what most hard core conservatives say is the liberal position.

come on don't play the lefts game. this is not true(well mostly) those groups have more people dependent on the gov. For a living, which includes gov. rmployees. Its still horrifying stat that is a real problem if you like a 2 party system if want to live a true socialist society that number brings a smile to you face. It fits fine with what I'd guess are the real positions of most people, both liberal and conservative.
And the 5% sounds about right as a percentage for what we know are just very vocal groups of liberal politicians and advocacy groups who represent their views as the liberal position. Same as they do in many other cases (e.g., LGBT issues).
Put it to a vote and Jose's on his way back to Tijuana on the next bus.

Nothing we do with them will make a damn bit of difference until we stop the leakage at the border. You deport all 11 million and all 11 million will try to find a way back.
There is some evidence that our continuing economic funk (which is about to get worse I might add)has slowed down the stampede from south of the border but Barry Obutthead is making sure the Dems get more voters so he wont do jack shit about closing the borders.

Because it doesn't matter. Everyone knows that the Democrat Party is the Screw Over White People Party. And despite the Republican Party obviously being the White Party, even Right-wing White people have been brainwashed into submission due to decades of anti-White conditioning. So, Republicans simply don't have the spine to round up and deport illegal immigrants. They're too afraid of being called racists.
