Question for Christians
Date: January 24, 2013 01:25PM

I mean this as a genuine question, so don't get all butt hurt. When Jesus got crucified, it was God's plan, correct? So did the jews that crucified him go to hell? They were fulfilling God's plan so it seems kind of messed up that they would have to suffer for eternity for doing what he wanted them to do...

Just STFU. It's not a genuine question at all.

The only people who are more annoying than fundamental Christians are idiots like you who can't stop themselves from doing dumb shit like this just to try to fuck with them.

You're not supposed to ask questions to make sense of their fairy tales.

You're just supposed to believe, have faith.

However, if you believe in The Great Pumpkin, that story is a bit less complicated and more believable.

But as in any case, it is acceptable to blame the Jews.

Romans crucified Jesus.
Yes, God got mad and destroyed the Roman Empire.

Its OK to question as long as you're willing to learn.

It does seems kind of messed up, from the outside looking in.
Open our doors and come on in. You will learn and be loved.
Find the answers from within yourself.

The Jews didn't crucify Jesus, so your question is based on a false premise. But to your larger question, which appears to be, "Do people doing wrong go Hell, even if they are part of God's plan?", I would submit that the answer to that is "yes" (if they don't repent through accepting Jesus before death). Everyone has a choice, even those who are facing one to fulfill God's plan. When faced with choices, we must then be responsible for the one's we make. Look at Moses - he wasn't allowed to enter the Promised Land because he became angry and broke the tablets, even though he remained a man of God.

It's fascinating how much mythology and history of earlier civilizations in the area were plagiarized by the Jews and therefore by Christians and Muslims.

They can't help themselves; they're zealots.

Nasty, self-righteous zealots, hating those who don't appreciate their awe-inspiring brilliance.

In other words, they're assholes.

That's kind of like asking "What ever happened to the Russian guy from The Sopranos season 3?" or "What was in Marcellus Wallace's briefcase?"

They are questions about fictional stories written by humans. Any answer is debatable and ultimately unfalsifiable.

A young man working in the army was constantly humiliated because he believed in God. One day the Captain wanted to humiliate him before the troops.

He called the young man and said: – Soldier, come here, take the key and go and park the Jeep in front.

The young soldier replied: – Sir, I cannot drive!

The Captain said: – But then ask your assistant, God! Show us that He exist.

The soldier takes the key and walks to the vehicle while he prays … He parks the Jeep PERFECTLY and exactly where the Captain instructed.

When he got back from the Jeep, he saw the other soldiers crying. They said: – We want to serve your God!

The astoned young soldier asked what was going on? The Captain told him to walk out with him, he opened the hood of the Jeep and showed the soldier that he removed the engine.

Without blinking an eye, the soldier said: You see, Sir, that’s My God!

We serve a supernatural God. God of the Impossible! He, Who gives life where it doesn’t exist, NOTHING is too big, or too difficult for Him!

Do you believe?

Even if Jesus planned the whole thing his purpose on earth was only to fulfill the prophecy of the messiah. He came so that we may have everlasting life thru him. You can do all things thru Jesus Christ who gives you strength this I put my life on, give it a try trust me He will never fail anyone.

One day, a woman's primary and backup parachute failed. She prayed to the Flying Spaghetti Monster to save her. As she neared the ground, she noticed a strange sensation - she had grown wings. Confident from this miracle, she stretched her wings and felt her descent slow. As she gently touched to the ground, the wings faded. However, her fellow skydivers witnessed the event and ate may plates of spaghetti and meatballs to honor their savior.

I believe in God. I understand where those who don't are coming from; I know I used to be pretty ambivalent to His existing. I think it's something people have to decide on a case by case basis. I have my views, but I don't shove them down people's throats unless people ask me for them.

I'll tell everyone something right here and now, however: I don't believe in a personal God. He has more important things to do than fix your problems.

I believe that when I die, there is no soul to rise to the pearly gates or to be reborn. My life is judged by how I live it on a daily basis, not by repenting on my deathbed and having been baptized as a child. I will not allow a book to dictate morality to me, especially one with arbitrary rules such as not mixing different fibers on the same garment or not working on a particular day of the week. I will not follow a god that tests his followers by instructing them to kill their children. I will try to make better decisions by observing my the affects of my actions on others. I hope for patience and understanding. I do not have an eternal soul. I can only wish that with time, I will become the person that my friends, family, and coworkers deserve.

Keep praying, keep believing, but don't waste your breath on me.

I truly hope that you will have a religious experience. Yes, the Bible does have many archaic rules. The idea is not to live by every single rule. It is to strive to live by God's commandments.

In Judaism, we believe that God forgives if you truly repent. There is only one requirement, and that's only if you're male. Otherwise, you should attempt to live your life as best you can.

This church is disturbing.

The lyrics the little kid is singing is

"The Bible’s right, somebody’s wrong.
The Bible’s right, somebody’s wrong.
Romans one, twenty six and twenty seven;
Ain’t no homos gonna make it to Heaven."

Then the parishioners stand up in ovation and cheers.

Your brain is yours, Genevieve. You can believe anything you want. You can believe you're turning into a vanilla milkshake after you die, if that's what makes you happy.

Who would care?

Repenting on a deathbed? Sounds like something out of cheesy movie.

Mixing fibers? Never heard of that one, but since I generally stick to cotton, I guess I've got that base covered, although, I would never worry about that in the first place.

Why would you?

Thank goodness. You hear of this happening everyday.

Just last week, two of my kids were getting on my nerves, and I heard this voice say, kill your children, Alias. Luckily, they escaped and went back to college.

Happy ending..... this time.

In my case, my kids saw me coming at them, throwing things and screaming about population control.... so they grabbed their computers and ran.
