Im retired so no I do not have a job. But I do have a new hobby young man. And that hobby is to see assault weapons rid of this country along with a few thousand of my fellow AARP forum friends. For someone with so much experience, your spelling and grammar are pretty bad. Regarding the topic at hand, more extensive background checks and mental health screenings are in order. There also need to be very stiff penalties for those that don't secure their weapons when they fall into the hands of others who use them to commit crimes. With all of that said, you come across as smug and pretentious and if you really are anything other than a troll, you should really work on your presentation. Very well said sir/madam..Im a responsible gun owner and have been most of my life. I agree with about 90% of what you said. The idiot that started this thread is part of the problem and shes too ignorant to even realize it. Although I dont agree with everything the teaparty says, I dont agree with your views on them. That said, I do agree that there needs to be steps takein that will be productive to enforce the laws that already exist(the brady bill) regarding mentaly ill people getting theyre hands on guns but the question is, who is going to screen people??
