Last week I was at a bar in DC. I started chatting up a young lady who looked a little nervous and kept looking over her shoulder.

I asked if I could by here a drink. She said ok and asked for a gin and tonic. The bartender handed me the drink and I passed it to her.

Just then, this guy pops out of nowhere, and she says "hi honey, this nice man bought you a drink" and gives it to him.

The both had a good laugh at my expense.

I walked away and could not help laughing a bit myself. She just roofied her boyfriend.

Since you are to f-ing lazy to type "google" in your web browser, sure I will.

The fact that numerous studies and reports are done on violence against women and have resulted in equally numerous statistics emphasizes that violence against women is a serious problem plaguing the world’s women and girls. Some statistics are more relevant, reliable or telling than others and similar statistics from different studies or reports can seem to conflict with one another. This is because there are several variables that affect the collection of data and the formulation of statistics: the size of a study’s sample, the duration of the study, how recent the study is, the location of the study, the words used in the questions, the definitions of key terms, among many others factors. So, when using any statistics, cite them accurately, use them in the appropriate context, and be aware of their vulnerabilities.

Following are a selection of the best web sites at which to find and verify violence against women statistics:

World Health Organization who.org and http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/fs239/en/

Department of Justice doj.gov

Department of Justice's Violence Against Women Office http://www.ovw.usdoj.gov/

Department of Justice's On-line Resources

RAINN http://www.rainn.org/

Feminist.com

Family Violence Prevention Fund http://www.nnedv.org/resources/nationalorgs/59-national-organizations/9-fvpf.html

Women Watch (United Nations) http://www.un.org/womenwatch/

97% of all violence against women occurs when they don't listen.

Normally docile and law abiding males are driven to violence because of improper reactions to requests and demands.

What is it about "love, honor and OBEY" that these women don't seem to understand?

See, you just alienated someone who might've been interested in helping you. Good job.
