I'm waiting on iTunes to release the latest episode of Walking Dead, and I decided to search for Meade Skelton. He has seven albums on iTunes....WTF?


So if you pay 99ยข for one of his songs, how much of that does he receive?

He is losing money. You have to pay a distributor about 50 bucks an album and you get to keep like 50 or 60 cents per song or 6 bucks an album. Do the math, no way he sells enough to recoup that investment. Let alone the cost to record the songs in the first place.

Of course they are getting bigger and bigger.


The only gig they have left is Aunt Sarah's.
Instead of pay, they get unlimited pancakes and first dibs on any bacon scraps paying customers have left on their plates.

If they do a really good set, the management even lets Meade lick the excess ranch dressing off the salad plates before they are rinsed.
