Damn what a way to go. I heard the story that maybe the poor kid died in the fall. I didnt hear the mom was doing the dangling bit.

According to one article she put him on the railing to let him see the dogs and somehow he fell off. It was at least an 11 foot drop so maybe he was lucky and died from the fall.

I visited a zoo out near Winchester a few years back. They had lions and basically it was a high chain link fence between you and them. I figured no way I wanted to be a meal for them and backed away with my kids. I suspect the private zoo industry isnt regulated much at all. Even the public zoos have stories about doors left open or employees getting mauled. I read another story about the Pittsburg incident and it said a year ago the wild dogs got loose due to an open door.

1) How the FUCK did she not jump the FUCK in after him? How do you just fucking stand there and watch that happen and not jump in? Maybe she gets killed, too but you can't just fucking stand there, can you?

2) Will she be brought up on charges of child neglect or manslaughter? Anything?

For an adult unless you land on your head an 11 ft drop should not kill you, maybe break a leg or arm but it is your kid we are talking about. A full grown adult might be what it takes to drive the dogs back as they will be less inclined to attack when the object is much bigger than them, at least long enough for help to arrive.

Your kid is down there...shatter your fucking legs going after them, crawl to them ripping out all of your fingernails, and wrap your body around your kid for as long as you can or until help arrives. I wouldn't even have to think about doing this...
