I always thought Obama was a horrible and inexperienced choice and I always get nervous when the media gets behind something so strongly. Millions of younger voters were blindly mobilized and are quick to scapegoat for the failing economy. Hero worship status was lauded onto a man who has accomplished little in terms of actually helping others.



The proof is all in the numbers and math- Obama CANNOT LEAD.

1)Federal spending is the highest since WW2 as is the Budget deficit.

2) Only 58% OF THE POPULATION IS WORKING the lowest number since 1983

3) Home ownership is lowest since 1965

4) Median family income is down $4,000 per household since Obama was elected.

5) Food stamp usage is UP almost 50%

6) Unemployment is today (11/2/2012) HIGHER than when Obama took office even after the near trillion dollar stimulus.

Hey, I gave this man a chance and didn't say shit for probably the first year he was in office. A few years ago it became glaringly obvious he was in WAY OVER HIS HEAD and I was right, right, right.

Do I want to be back here a few mornings every week in the next years playing "I told you so" tfor the shut-ins and blindly devoted liberals who populate this board?

Wingnut, you prove to me so often when you post that you are anything but what your moniker says. Your posts are thoughtful, reasoned and based on facts. I totally respect your opinion and am with you 80% of the way. I too would be in Romney's camp if Romney weren't Romney. I mainly am not happy with the hard right turn that the Republican Party has taken since 2008 and especially since 2010. Its mainly because of the conspiracy nuts and the hyperbole that you referenced in your post just now.

Your assessment of Obama is pretty spot on for the most part. He himself has had the humility to say that he hasn't been perfect.

I too won't be upset if Romney wins and I won't be all that happy that we will have another four years of Obama either. I just hope that we get fewer extremists on both sides. The best hope for our country that I can see from this past week was when Obama and Christie were touring New Jersey together.

I won't be happy on election night either way. I just pray that we have an outcome that is definitive within 24 hours.

I don't know, but I think Wingnut is actually dying. The stress and sweat equity from his continual political ramblings have clearly taken a toll on his physical and emotional well-being.

Thank you wingnut you could not have said any of this better, unfortunately obama is creating a country with more and more poor so that they are dependant on the govt and thus he will have more votes. I just hope he doesnt make it so prevelant that there are so many poor people in this country that they keep falling for his scheme and re-elect his pathetic ass for a 3rd term and so on even with the amendment. Nope. Wingnut makes very good points. If you can't see this then you haven't been watching what has been going on. A win for Obama is buying us more of the same of what we have had.

I'm just one of those who isn't interested in what Romney has been selling but I can see why there are many, many people who are fed up with what Obama has been.

Join the club.

Whoever wins will probably get less than 52% of the total vote and will probably be stuck with a divided government. That means that if we are going to get ANYTHING done, the winner has to learn to reach out to those who oppose him, both in Congress and in the nation.

As for a prediction, how about 49% Obama, 50% for Romney, but Obama wins the electoral college with 276 votes. Democrats hold the Senate and Republicans pick up a few seats in the House. Pretty much a non-mandate.

It wasn't actually hijacked BY these people. Karl Rove and Roger Ailes consciously chose to USE these people to hijack the party from the more moderate "establishment" Republicans who were going to do a major housecleaning after 8 years of Neo-con bungling.

It was an internal coup, not a grass-roots revolution.
