I will gladly pull the lever for Romney. I'll hold my nose and vote for Allen. I vote for him only because Harry Reid's Senate is the worst in history and Romney will need a Republican Senate to get his nominations and agenda passed.

However, he is correct on a lot of issues, number one- getting rid of this ObamaCare shitfest that is hanging over the heads of businesses. Tim Kaine has been an unquestioning Obama sycophant and supports him fully.

And BTW I voted for Mark Warner in 2008 believe it or not because I thought he had some fiscal and business sense. I'm through with him too.

Harry Reid's senate is bad but always remember there couldve been worse alternative. When Reid was running for re-election in 2010 I was worried he might lose. Not because I particularly like the guy but because I knew the Dems werent going to lose control of the Senate. This meant if Reid lost we would have a new Senate majority leader and do you know who was next in line? ... Chuck Schumer .. ... holy fuck give me Harry Reid any day of the week.

The only redeeming thing about Reid is his "A" rating from the NRA.
Other than that, he's shit. Schumers rating is "F-".

I listened to the Kaine vs. Allen debate on C-Span Radio.

Kaine absolutely clobbered the crap out of Allen with facts and articulate talking points. He did it calmly, rationally, and with a piercing conviction. He spoke about and proposed compromise positions that might actually work. He was clearly well armed with facts, striking comparisons in terms of results and accomplishments, and proud of his many accomplishments in office. He blew Allen's poor record and lack of accomplishments out of the water.

Allen sounded like a complete boob - recycling the same rather weak GOP talking points again and again, and making apples to oranges comparisons between himself and Kaine. That sloppy tongue thing he does when he speaks makes him sound like he's half in the bag drunk. Couple it with his lousy debate preparation and he just does not come off well.

Clearly as responsible voters we should make a choice about who makes the most viable, intelligent, conservative, middle of the road replacement for Jim Webb's Senate seat - and clearly the right answer to that question is Tim Kaine.

Virginia needs a strong Senate team that can get things done. Allen held that Senate seat for 6 years and didn't do squat.

Tim Kaine will be a breath of fresh air. He will be able to work hand in hand with Mark Warner, another intelligent, conservative, middle of the road Senator working for compromise and results. Tim Kaine will do well for Virginia.

Hmmm... I see. In 2005, when the fundraiser was held, Gardner had no record, had never been accused of ... well, doing anything illegal ever, in his entire life. There was nothing in his background or history that could foretell his actions in 2011. Still, Kaine should have avoided the association.

I don't know what you were listening to but believing that Kaine, the former Chair of the DNC, is in any way an 'intelligent, conservative, middle of the road' guy kind of gives away what you consider the middle. lol Too bad that he's not more like Warner. I might vote for him then.

Kaine sounded like he was lost and just pulling crap out of his ass the whole time. He, like Obama, have nothing to run on but the same tired talking points which he basically just parrots. I know his ass must be sore because Axelrod had his arm all the up it in order to work his mouth. Beyond those points, about half of the time he just agreed with whatever Allen said.
