Long and Foster Building

I was driving over to the Chantilly Target this past weekend and couldn't miss the BIGGEST damned building I've seen in years near the intersection of 28 and Willard Rd. Is that the national HQ for Long and Foster?

last time I flew into Dulles I was looking for my house because I live really close to the airport, that building is huge when you are coming in for a landing and the one that finally gave me my bearings to find my neighborhood. I drove by it the other day, it doesn't look occupied yet.

It's not the L&F "national hq." The company only operates in the mid atlantic area.

Is place still freaking empty? I never see any cars there but it's lit up at night. It must be incredibly expensive to just have that building sitting there...empty.

Maybe FFX County can purchase it cheap and turn it into the low rent apartments they're always talking about.

I got a better idea - they oughta sell it to the state and then make it a prison.

It would work.

They only need some fencing, a few locks, and some additional communal shower rooms.

I think the building was stupid - considering most of the agents are 1099 and self-employed, and work from home.

I hear its a secret underground metro station in there. If you drive by it you will notice that the building is completely empty with no floors even though its suppose to be a 5 floor building. Drive by and check it out if you dont believe me.

The building that you see that is "completly empty" is a parking garage -_- it was designed to look like a an actual building not a garage.

They are still billed for "desk space" regardless where they spend most of their time.

The building is a tacky monstrosity. Just about the stupidest piece of substantial new architecture I've seen in years. When I drove by it last month, I was truly taken aback. What a piece of shit.

I've always thought that was the ugliest building ever. And there's always a For Lease sign on it. Bad timing for them, the economy tanked right after they built it. Doubt it's a parking garage, for who?
