This forum is what Chantillyites make of it. And yeah I know Chantilly is a little fucking box that is just like brookfield and poplar tree, but still. And what the fuck is that. Go over 28 and it's Centreville. Go over Stringfellow and it's Fairfax. Go over 50 and it's herndon or oak hill. Chantilly is tiny cause they keep redrawing the lines. Shit, Chantilly High School is technically in Fairfax (but they redrew the lines to make it chantilly).

Eh, Chantilly's OK, unless you're in Brookfield. Neighbors across the street (4217 Newport Dr) drive me nuts. They have like 5 cars, and they start them up (and they're really loud) at the strangest hours. Surprisingly I didn't find any dirt on them in the arrest search.

I used to go to this house in greenbriar in high school, they called it the "neverending party", these two guys who basically dropped out of high school and were living in this house buried somewhere off majestic... all those houses look alike to me... the front lawn always had fresh track marks, piles of beer cans, and the inside was a disaster... they had been robbed several times and people had just walked off with shit other times, so it had like a couch and a fridge and a few beds, and somehow they managed to keep a stereo and tv around most of the time. It reeked of pot, rotting beer and piss, and had bloodstains telling what I can only imagine is a colorful story about the various fights that went on inside the house.

BUT anytime I went there, you could ALWAYS come in and chill and get high or drunk and you never got turned away by whoever was inside. Most fridays and sats there were a lot of people there and on weeknights it was a big local stoner hangout.

Those were the days.

i love the traffic lately on poplar tree. or for the past several years too. seems like its getting worse and worse. main problem is the church and fags that use it like a highway to bypass 50 and stringfellow traffic. don't widen stringfellow either you dipshits! put left turn lanes into the stringfellow/poplar tree intersection.

good god you're telling me! poplar tree road used to go all the way down to 28 several years ago. now it's just a culdesac (past the business park). thank god or else traffic would be even worse! you all know how getting from walney to 28 is during the day.
making a left turn from lees corner rd onto poplar tree is almost impossible nowadays. especially when st. tims gets out. and what the hell is with fillingame having MASSIVE speedhumps? i mean the first one (closest to walney rd) is okay but the ones after that you have to go like 2mph if you don't want to bottom out.

I plead guilty to all of the above abuse mentioned... I love to kick on poplar tree to get to centreville (home) during rush if I am stuck out there...

I lived in Brookfield back in the 80's and 90's on DeHaven Dr. Behind my house was just woods for as far as you can see. We used to go around and walk the "Indian Trails and look for arrowheads. Sadly while I was in High School they tore everything up and created these monster houses ($350K).

I agree- I remember when Sully Plaza was decent....I went to the Kmart there last weekend and was shocked. It is absolutely disgusting. I had 2 older guys following me aisle to aisle, I think they were eyeing my purse. I was scared for my life, LOL.

me and a friend ended up on their porch walking to greenbriar one night (i live near king of kings) and it was just like 6 dudes sitting on a porch drinking. just as we were about to declare it a sausagefest a car full of girls pulled up and each one walked up, said nothing, and sat in somebody's lap. it was majestic indeed.

I would say about half of Chantilly is middle-class, 1/4 is filthy rich and 1/4 is... the hood lol.

And there are so many cops cuz there are 2 police stations within 2 minutes response on either side of Chantilly neighborhoods: Sully @ Stonecroft Blvd and Westfields, Fair Oaks @ Rt 50 and Fair Ridge Dr. However i disagree with you max, Chantilly is a thriving business and corporate base for the County which attracts thousands of P Willy citizens to work in our "high rises" that make Chantilly such a beautiful place to live. The only bad part about the area is the section 8 housing and neighborhoods adjacent to it. If you're looking for ghetto ass parties, go to Manassas. well i have lived here for about 14 years and it really does suck, it may not suck for older people who have money, but for people like my friends and me who dont have that much money there isnt much to do. cops are here in greenbriar everyday all day fucking with us and the younger kids at the greenbriar shopping center. its nothing but bull shit here
