Safeway in Bristow

Pros; Great Location

Cons: 2 registers open . Takes an hour to check out.

Totally agree. That place sux @$$. And not in a good way, like when it has diarrhea. They put out fried chicken packs at the deli area that are so dried out they should be ashamed to call themselves a grocery store. Prices are higher than Giant or Target. Cashiers are creepy old women that keep hitting on me. It's like they've never seen a fit, moderately young guy in there.

I have been there a few times. I can't say I like them at all. I went into the bathrooms and they give them NO attention. Seriously. It is gross.

I live in Bristow and have been to the Safeway a few times. I think that many of the Safeways I have been to in Northern Virginia seem to fall behind the other big stores. I always thought the reasons were because it's a large national chain and one of the oldest. They have aged over the years and the Bristow store is not as bright an atmosphere as the newer stores.
I guess it needs a makeover!

Unfortunately, this area of Bristow is less than 10 years old; at least as far the housing developments and this shopping center is concerned. It's a shame that the businesses are getting rundown in such a short-span of time.

Much better going to either of the Super Targets or Harris Teeter. Cleaner, cheaper (eh, maybe not so much HT), and the scenery is much, much nicer.

I thought that joint was a front for a cougar pick up den. Has anyone else noticed the guy in the pharmacy looks like Will Smith?

Safeways suck all of them . Now albertsons they are in transition mode.they fired all backstage employees most with no sevrence packages.the cut all store hours.no more in house maintenance.eqipment all broken down.checkstand lines out the door.hot cases are cold cold cases are hot, call local health department.sad very sad stay away far away please

He's an arrogant fuck and an incompetent pharmacist as well. Never checks his queue so when you go for pickup it's never ready.
