Koons Honda Manassas

Opinion: Avoid the Service Department at Koons Honda, Manassas. Overcharged me for an oil change, filters and tire rotation by estimated $80. Damaged bumper of car, but fixed it over two days. Service staff impolite, like it's yer privilege to be there and just the unappreciative tone.

Yes. Definitely be careful. Everything stated above is accurate. They tried to screw me on my state inspection. Told me I needed to spend almost a thousand dollars to pass, but here's the kicker. That I have to bring it back to them. Such BS. I took it to Va tire and auto, passed inspection for $300 bucks.

I have to agree with everyone.

The fact is, unless your vehicle has a stored code that tells the techs what to fix they don't know. My vehicle that I purchased from them keeps going into limp mode and they don't know why. I have been told to drive it until it happens again then to bring it straight to them without turning it off.

Am I supposed to only drive it around their hours and to stay close?? What happened to actual automotive technicians????


In their defense; (only) if it's an easy or obvious fix they are competent.
