Super Garden Deli

Anyone remember Super Garden Deli? Did they ever open anywhere else? Anyone know what happened to the owners? Aaron Thayer was owner; son Lee and son-in-law Bill helped run the place. Across from Ballston metro for 40 years then moved across the street. The owner of the property sold the block and it's now the Quest building (old location is still there, Hunan restaurant).

They were the best deli around...really miss those hoagies.

The deli was closed after Aaron was arrested and convicted of child molestation. I think bestiality too. His family had to sell the business to cover his legal fees. I heard rumors that Aaron's been ass-raped in the prison shower several times.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Apparently, Aaron was grinding up his victims and serving them as breakfast scrapple.

My first job was at Super Garden when I started High-School at W-L. Aaron sold it because he was offered a great deal when trey renovated Ballston. Hands down they had the best hoagies in town and they were meticulous about food being fresh and overall cleanliness. “Alpha Male” was probably one of the douchebags that came into the store hot and got his ass kicked by Bill and Lee. I saw a few of those in my time there, lol. Anyone remember the smoking hot cashier, Gina? She was super cool and I had a huge crush on her.
