Purcellville has really grown !

When I was teen in the mid to late 1990s, I lived not far from the Purcellville area. It was just a small farm town. I remember "Sweet T's" and this BBQ place. I guess Fran's place is still there ..

Anyways, now its like a little college town. And its feel is much more SUB-urban. Which I really don't like. But I suppose times change. Patrick Henry college was there in the early 2000s, but it seems like it didn't find its impact until the last 4 or 5 years or so. I don't mind the college kids, but I miss P-ville when it used to be s simple farm community.

I grew up in the area in the 1690s. Then the white man came with small pox and radical Christianity. I miss the old days when we could hunt and fish and our people still existed.
