The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is asking for help identifying a suspect who was caught on surveillance video attempting to cash a check that was stolen in a July 15 burglary in Ashburn.

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is asking for help identifying a suspect who was caught on surveillance video attempting to cash a check that was stolen in a July 15 burglary in Ashburn.
In July, investigators learned of a burglary that took place at a residence on Hiddengrove Court. During the burglary electronics and blank checks were taken.
The man show in the photo later attempted to cash one of the stolen checks in the amount of $600 at the Suntrust Bank on Kenmore Avenue in Alexandria.
Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is urged to contact Investigator M. McCaffrey at 703-777-0475. Callers wishing to remain anonymous may contact Loudoun Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered.
