Tips Lead To Arrest For Ashburn Burglary 1 comment

Help from the community has led to the arrest of a Maryland man for his alleged role in a July burglary in Ashburn.

Demone E. Robinson, 22, of Silver Spring, was taken into custody Tuesday, Sept. 13, in Alexandria. He has been charged in Loudoun with burglary and check fraud.

In July, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office learned of a burglary that took place at a residence on Hiddengrove Court in Ashburn. During the burglary, electronics and blank checks were taken. Last week sheriff's office investigators released a surveillance video still of a suspect who attempted to cash one of the stolen checks in the amount of $600 at the Suntrust Bank on Kenmore Avenue in Alexandria.

After receiving information from the public, investigators were led to Robinson.

Robinson is being held at the Alexandria Detention Center on an unrelated charge.

How come the photo of this suspect looks like it was taken at Madame Tussad's Wax Museum?
