Members of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office took a Sterling man into custody on Sept. 1 on multiple felony narcotics charges.
Austin M. Rhodes, 32, was charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, and possession with intent to distribute cocaine.
He faces an additional charge for having ammunition while a convicted felon.
The charges came after members of the Sheriff’s Office Vice-Narcotics Unit and the Emergency Response Team conducted a search of Rhodes’ residence in the 46800 block of Redfox Ct.
During the search, deputies seized an ounce of powder cocaine, 1/8 ounce of crack cocaine and four grams of heroin. They also found ammunition for a firearm.
The combined street value for the narcotics is approximately $4,000.
The search warrant was the result of a month-long investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
Rhodes remains held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
