Farmers market in South Riding every Saturday.
Concerts by Town Center in the summer every Friday
Cox Farms during the week
Divorced moms hang at the South Riding Inn Fridays and Saturdays between 9-11 PM.
Also, keep in mind, in South Riding you have a lot of Indian people that walk around with grandparents.
The South Riding way. Build an elementary school within walking distance for 900 students, so you need no busses. Even though every house around it has at least three bedrooms, and most have four or more bedrooms, build it on the conservative side of population estimates. Then, Redistrict it, so kids who can see the elementary school from their side yards are bussed to another school. Hundreds of kids who live a mile away from the school, or are too fat to walk every day, are now being chauffeured to school by moms in SUVs. This system causes gridlock at the school and the surrounding streets. See, we are environmental.
Ever been on the Parkway, Tall Cedars, or Edgewater Street at 7:30 AM and tried to get out of South Ridding? Its all backed up, because Fairfax, as a cruel joke, put lots of unnecessary stoplights on Route 50 to mess up people from South Riding getting to or from 66.
The current slogan is "South Riding, your new hometown." I submitted for the next slogan "South Riding, at least we're not Brambleton, Gainesville or Centerville." I think I have a shot at winning.
And don’t get me started with those pinheads who four and five years ago bought million dollar houses in the Toney neighborhoods of The Ridings at Blue Springs, The Retreat, or South Village. Those Pinheads have now all kissed over $300,000 goodbye.
