This is a thread dedicated to the user Loudoun News.

It has been created so that ALL of the news articles can be posted and found here, organized and timely with no searching for the latest story. The discussions can be addressed as usual by just typing @(name of article here) - maybe some cross-over discussion and interesting parallels will be found with ALL the articles in ONE place.

Enjoy...and keep up the good work Loudoun News.

Maybe, if this is at the TOP of the page - Loudoun News may see it and actually decide to use this as their personal thread.

Just wondering...why is it such a big deal for Loudoun News to post in one thread? I mean, look at the "Fairfax General" forum. There are new posts for everything. Why would you want a thread to grow to multiple pages; thus, having to click on the "Loudoun News" thread and then to the last page? It just seems a lot easier to browse through the newest posts selecting to read only the ones that interest you, no?

Lucketts - I think having all the posts in one place (thread) would benefit the poster (Loudoun News) and anyone who wanted to discuss "copy and paste" news articles.

When ONE poster creates 30, yes there was 30 NEW threads posted one day, it basically pushes everything off the front page and becomes a forum of ONE person.

Clicking the "Loudoun News" thread and clicking the last page would be much easier verse sifting through an entire forum and countless pages (which it will start to add up to in time) - IMO.

And again, I think there is the possibility of discussing things that parallel each other, or are related in some fashion, if all the information is in one place.

I thought this "Super-Thread" was a good / helpful idea, I have no problem if the user / poster decides to ignore it completely.

Gave it a shot - I am done with the idea.

The difference is it's one person on a less-frequented forum and it's ALL copy/paste news articles with no added commentary.

Might as well just stick a perma-link to Loudoun Times at the top of the forum.

Approximately, 58+ new threads all created by LOUDOUN NEWS on the 1st PAGE...it is no wonder this part of FFXU is not used at all.

Yeah, 20 of them today. He's not even filtering out the *really* boring articles anymore - everything is going up.

Yeah - I am new here and thought maybe the OCD behavior of "Loudoun News" may have been the reason for this ghost town...I was wrong. I was, at first, excited to have an area of FFXU dedicated to the area I live...but, such is life.

Any interesting threads which may previously have been visible to people are long since buried under a barrage of articles from a paper I already get on my driveway for free.

Pretty much stifles any interesting conversation that may try to occur.

I read all the older threads, none of them were remotely interesting at all.
I think he posts those new articles to stimulate conversation in the forum or maybe he's just bored.
