I want rocks

I'm trying to dig out an irrigation system and need small rocks/large gravel to fill in the trench. We're trying to aim for a French drain type of deal. Anybody have any gravel or rock supply suggestions in Loudoun?

Home Depot and Lowes sell bags but probably not a good option if you have a LARGE job.

For larger/bulk purchase; offering some add'l options w/ weblinks...

Charles Luck Stone in Sterling have the rock but, not sure if that location only caters to contractors?

Merrifield Garden Center at their nearest location to Loudoun in Fairfax on Lee Highway (near Fair Oaks Mall) offer bulk sale of stone to all.

Sislers Stone in Falls Church (a longer way from Loudoun) have been there for forever. They are the No VA champs for crushed stone of all types.

Hope this helped...

I go to Charles Luck Stone for any of my rock needs. Check out their products page, just make sure to check on their hours before you head out to pick up!

They've got a pile of gravel over at VDOT just back your truck up and shovel it in!

Mullen & Jamie - many thanks. That's exactly what I was looking for.

Ryno - Do they really, or are you pulling my leg? I feel like a dummy asking this.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Check the papers, they often have sales on them.
